How do I maintain the film?

After thirty days, you may clean 3M ScotchTintTM Films using normal household cleaning solutions, including ammonia based products, e.g. Windex, and a soft, lint-free cloth or towel. You may also use a squeegee to clean the film. Abrasive products, which could scratch or damage the film, should not be used.

Won't window Tinting ruin my view?

Actually it will improve your view today by reducing glare. Because this window film will never bubble, peel or discolor, it will not ruin your view in the future. Cheaper films unlike 3M will later discolor and distort your view.

Will window film make my house seem dark inside?

If you have a copy of your seal failure warranty Speedy and 3M will replicate it for a period of 40 months, to make sure you do not lose valuable coverage on your new windows.

What is thermal shock?

That is when the increase stress caused by Tinted film creates a crack in your windows. It happens to 1 out of every 100 panes with Tinted film applied. Most Tint dealers do not inform you of this situation because they do not want to cover it. Speedy and 3M will replace your glass and film free for 5 years if they crack due to thermal shock.
